Special Olympics Slovakia has organized on 4th of February Family Health Forums for one Special school in Bratislava, Žehrianska 9. At the event, were invited to participate teachers, age 20 to 29, and 30 to 64, so they can learn more about the young adults’ program and health issues of kids with intellectual disabilities.
At the event, there were mentioned necessary information regarding inclusion, healthy lifestyle, communication with the ministry and spreading the word inclusion.
The project “Inclusion through sport for children with developmental disabilities” is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Regional Cooperation.
The project is implemented by Motivation Romania Foundation in partnership with Special Olympics Romania, Special Olympics Iceland, Special Olympics Slovakia, Special Olympics Lithuania, Special Olympics Bosnia and Herzegovina, Special Olympics Montenegro, Special Olympics Europe Eurasia Foundation and the University of Physical Education in Poznan.
