The project “Inclusion through sport for children with developmental disabilities” present at Regional Funds Week, December 6-10, 2021
Between December 6 and 10, 2021, the project “Inclusion through sport for children with developmental disabilities” presents its results for the first year of implementation. The project is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norwegian Grants.
On December 7, starting at 11:45 CET, the partners will host a round table where we will present the objectives and the partners involved in the project. Next, we will be streaming a live sports event organized by Special Olympics Romania for children with and without developmental disabilities. In the second part of the event, coaches and parents of children with developmental disabilities from the partners will discuss Coaching Practices – sharing of inclusive training practices for children aged 6-12 among leading coaches in Europe, and the role of Family Health Forums in the inclusion of children with developmental disabilities.
The Regional Funds Week 2021 event is organized by the EEA and Norway Grants, and promotes international projects with a focus on social inclusion, environmental protection and other crucial cross-country themes.
The project “Inclusion through sport for children with developmental disabilities” is implemented by Motivation Romania Foundation in partnership with Special Olympics Romania, Special Olympics Iceland, Special Olympics Slovakia, Special Olympics Lithuania, Special Olympics Bosnia and Herzegovina, Special Olympics Montenegro, Special Olympics Europe Eurasia Foundation and the University of Physical Education in Poznan.
